WeirFoulds is seeking a regulatory lawyer to join its dynamic Regulatory Group. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of regulatory law experience including expertise in assisting professional regulators, public bodies, not-for-profit organizations and/or charities, with respect to regulations, bylaws, standards, policies, corporate and governance issues.
  • Strong technical legal, research and drafting skills combined with excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in entrepreneurialism including client service, client relationships and client development.
  • Ability to work with lawyers at all levels, paralegals, and support staff, and be a team player.
  • Ability to balance competing demands and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and flexible.
  • Confidence to manage files and clients independently.

The successful candidate will work with our experienced team of lawyers on a variety of challenging and diverse matters in the areas of professional regulation, administrative and public law, human rights, and corporate, non-profit and charities law.
