What can I expect to do in this role?

| About the role
Senior Legal Counsel reports to the Director, Legal and Rules, and serves as a senior-level legal resource and advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), senior management, and business units. Strategic and Business Legal Advice:

Legal Subject Matter Expertise

| Minimum Qualifications

Senior Legal Counsel reports to the Director, Legal and Rules, and serves as a senior-level legal resource and advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), senior management, and business units. | Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Law Degree required.
Must be licensed by a Canadian provincial or territorial law society to practice law in Canada and familiar with the Civil Code of Quebec.

Knowledge of computer skills, including electronic legal research.
Experience in real estate law is preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Medical-Legal Assistant (MLA) provides high quality administrative support to Physician Advisors in the Medico-legal Services’ (MLS) department.
