Job Description

LEGAL ASSISTANT-DOWNTOWN TORONTO – HYBRID

 

Unique opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded firm with a positive work environment, in a fast-paced boutique law office supporting Senior Counsel to the Firm with civil and corporate litigation

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Document Management: Prepare, file and maintain accurate legal documents, including pleadings correspondence and court documents

 

  • Calendar Management: Manage lawyer’s calendar, scheduling appointments and court appearances, and other events

 

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence

 

  • Docketing/Billing: Entering and checking time records in Soluno, preparing sample bills and client accounts

 

Requirements:

  • Legal Office Assistant Certificate
  • Experience in legal environment
  • Strong organization, time management and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office 365 (Word, Excel, Adobe), experienced with Soluno Accounting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
