LEGAL ASSISTANT-DOWNTOWN TORONTO – HYBRID
Unique opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded firm with a positive work environment, in a fast-paced boutique law office supporting Senior Counsel to the Firm with civil and corporate litigation
Responsibilities Include:
- Document Management: Prepare, file and maintain accurate legal documents, including pleadings correspondence and court documents
- Calendar Management: Manage lawyer’s calendar, scheduling appointments and court appearances, and other events
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence
- Docketing/Billing: Entering and checking time records in Soluno, preparing sample bills and client accounts
Requirements:
- Legal Office Assistant Certificate
- Experience in legal environment
- Strong organization, time management and strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office 365 (Word, Excel, Adobe), experienced with Soluno Accounting
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
