*This position is available for hybrid work in Calgary and Edmonton*
Do you have an administrative background in a legal setting? SGI CANADA is currently looking for a Permanent, Full-Time Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Alberta! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents, co-coordinating legal files and providing administrative support for the Legal department. You will respond to internal and external inquiries on the company’s position on files and the status of legal actions while maintaining legal filing systems, databases and libraries. This position is based out of Calgary or Edmonton. Hybrid work from home arrangements may be considered after three months of employment.
We’re looking for someone who pays great attention to detail and who has a positive attitude (even in times of uncertainty and change). You likely consider yourself to be highly organized, computer/tech savvy all while meeting tight timelines.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have one-year certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution in a relevant field of study such as Legal as well as at least 1 – 2 years’ directly related experience. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
