Working in an integrated fashion as part of Osler’s Technology Group, the successful candidate will be responsible for taking Osler’s TeshSure Program, servicing emerging and high growth technology companies, to the next level. Leveraging Osler’s innovative work processes, cutting edge precedents, systems and processes, the successful candidate will take a leading role in continuing to innovate, team build and evolve Osler’s program to deliver market-leading, cost-effective and efficient legal solutions to clients.

Position Requirements:

Our ideal candidate may work in any of our offices in Canada office, or remotely, with the requirement to, on occasion, be physically present in Osler’s Toronto office. The successful candidate will work under the guidance and direction of the partners in Osler’s Technology Group. The successful candidate will:

• be called to the Ontario, Quebec, Alberta or British Columbia bar
• have at least 5 years of technology and related commercial experience
• have meaningful privacy and data protection related experience
• have a keen interest in working closely with emerging and high growth companies within Canada’s vibrant technology sector
• have proven project-management capability and expertise, as well as hands-on experience leading and managing projects of various sizes
• have proficiency using and implementing technology and leading change in the legal profession, including experience with business process improvement
• previous experience working in-house considered an asset
• have proven experience managing people
