Our Law Clerk, Compliance & Intellectual Property (“IP”) will provide support to our Director, Global Legal & Compliance and to our Sr. Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property in a number of critical areas.
Supporting the Director, Global Legal & Compliance, this position is responsible for Global Code of Conduct Program administration, including intake of (and dispatch of investigations for) new complaints received through the global ethics hotline, and (with the Director) reporting, training and program design. The Law Clerk, Compliance & Intellectual Property will also participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our privacy programme, including monitoring the privacy department inbox, reviewing privacy-related assessments and handling Data Subject Requests received by McCain.
Supporting the Sr. Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property, the position includes the coordination of the company’s trademark and patent applications, registrations and renewals, and participating in the development and delivery of IP training.
The Compliance & Intellectual Property Assistant/Paralegal will also conduct research and assist with special projects and provide administrative support to the Director, Global Legal & Compliance and the Sr. Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property.
