Key Responsibilities
- Act as counsel in creditors’ rights and recovery matters on behalf of financial institutions and commercial clients.
- Appear regularly before the courts to advance clients’ interests.
- Prepare and review pleadings, motion materials, and related litigation documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and strategic guidance.
- Contribute to firm initiatives and demonstrate a strong commitment to professional excellence.
Qualifications
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or the Law Society of Alberta, with willingness to obtain membership in additional jurisdictions as required.
- Minimum 3 years litigation experience.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- French language ability is an asset.
- 2-5 years creditor's rights, enforcement, and judgment recovery.
