Job Description

Consolidated Legal Services LLP (CLS) is a boutique law firm dedicated to creditors’ rights, enforcement, and collection litigation. We serve clients across Canada, including major financial institutions, credit grantors, asset-based lenders, and insurers. CLS offers a collaborative, supportive environment with opportunities to work closely with experienced legal professionals. Our head office is located in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as counsel in creditors’ rights and recovery matters on behalf of financial institutions and commercial clients.
  • Appear regularly before the courts to advance clients’ interests.
  • Prepare and review pleadings, motion materials, and related litigation documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and strategic guidance.
  • Contribute to firm initiatives and demonstrate a strong commitment to professional excellence.

Qualifications

  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or the Law Society of Alberta, with willingness to obtain membership in additional jurisdictions as required.
  • Minimum 3 years litigation experience.
  • Strong organizational and file-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • French language ability is an asset.
  • 2-5 years creditor's rights, enforcement, and judgment recovery.
