The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) protects consumer and public interests and supports economic well-being through responsive financial marketplace regulation. The FCAA enhances consumer protection through licensing, registration, audit, complaint handling and enforcement activities pursuant to various provincial statutes.
The Legal Branch is currently seeking a permanent part-time Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support to members of the FCAA’s Hearing Panels on process and substantive law relating to all aspects of adjudicative proceedings. The successful candidate would also be involved in providing legal services to other divisions within the FCAA. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Legal Counsel’s practice will extend to all subject areas that touch upon the client programs’ operations, including administrative law and civil litigation.
