Associate Lawyer – Litigation – Creditors’ Rights Law
Consolidated Legal Services LLP (CLS) is a boutique law firm dedicated to creditors’ rights, enforcement, and collection litigation. We serve clients across Canada, including major financial institutions, credit grantors, asset-based lenders, and insurers. CLS offers a collaborative, supportive environment with opportunities to work closely with experienced legal professionals. Our head office is located in Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
Act as counsel in creditors’ rights and recovery matters on behalf of financial institutions and commercial clients.
Appear regularly before the courts to advance clients’ interests.
Prepare and review pleadings, motion materials, and related litigation documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and strategic guidance.
Contribute to firm initiatives and demonstrate a strong commitment to professional excellence.
Qualifications
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or the Law Society of Alberta, with willingness to obtain membership in additional jurisdictions as required.
Minimum 3 years litigation experience.
Strong organizational and file-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
French language ability is an asset.
2-5 years in creditor's rights, enforcement, and judgment recovery.
