Share What you'll do Responsibilities As a Litigation Clerk, you will be responsible for: Assist with file maintenance and preparation, monitoring, organization and management of primarily insurance litigation files; Provide support with the preparation of Affidavits of Documents and document production, maintaining undertakings, and preparation and registration of Judgments; Using eDiscovery technology to assist with the management of large document intensive files; Conduct court and media searches; Provide support with Discoveries, Trial and Hearing process; Arrange deliveries and couriers, including hand deliveries when necessary; and Being creative, sharing ideas, learning from others and sharing your skills and knowledge. What you'll need Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following skill set: Paralegal / Legal or Business Administration diploma or other related education; Exceptional time management; excel in a demanding, high-pace environment, highly detail-oriented, and be flexible to changing priorities; Exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, legal billing systems and a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the newest technology; Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will be strong team player and have high personal integrity; Experience in a legal support role, particularly within Litigation is an asset.
