The Law Society of Manitoba is the independent regulator of approximately 2,000 practicing lawyers that comprise the legal profession in Manitoba. The Law Society’s mandate is to protect the public interest by ensuring that the delivery of legal services is done through a competent, honourable and independent legal profession. As a member of the Law Society’s Complaints Resolution Department, the successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to investigate and to attempt to resolve complaints received by the Law Society about the conduct of lawyers practising in Manitoba. Complaints Resolution Counsel will also act as counsel to the Complaints Investigation Committee.
