You will provide specialized support to our Banking Centre frontline partners on the Power of Attorney process at CIBC. You will be using your knowledge of policies, processes and procedures to help drive an improved client and employee experience in this domain. In this role, you will be dealing with receiving request from partners for setup of POA and liaising with partners to ensure the timely completion of POA setup.   At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview   How You’ll Succeed  
  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and French
  • Client Service Experience - Validate Power of Attorney documents against provincial legislation and follow CIBC internal requirements. Review these documents to confirm the witness requirements are met under the province that the document is signed in.
  • Relationship Building - Provide the Banking Centre frontline staff regular status updates regarding Power of Attorney requests and setting these up in a timely manner to ensure a positive client experience. Collaborate with internal teams as well to resolve any issues or seek guidance associated with the Power of Attorney setup.
  • Technical abilities and General administration skills - Manage all activities associated with the setup of a Power of Attorney for a Client in ECIF, COINS and any applicable system. If you are adept with time management and organization you will be a great fit for this role
