Just ask!   Job Level NV-09   As an Assistance Lawyer - Identity Restoration, you help protect the organization’s legal interests by ensuring it complies with all laws. You also play a key role in making sure that its rights are protected and obligations are met. You may be responsible for one or more sub-specialties, such as contested matters and the Office of the Corporate Secretary (ethics and professional conduct, official registries, meeting minutes, the general meeting, etc.).

You analyze and help diagnose issues, provide opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules, and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills, extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, clients and partners.   General Information on the Position   Other working conditions
  • Schedule : Daytime from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a rotation on evening shifts from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Work place: Position located in Montreal, Levis or Granby, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid
  • Temporary work : scheduled to end on December 16, 2023, with strong possibility of extension

  Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Experience in customer service
  Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Be a member or recent member of the Quebec Bar
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
  Specific knowledge
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
