Summer Associate - Law Patents & Compliance


 

Reporting to the Head of Law, Patents and Compliance, the Law Intern will support the LPC team on a wide variety of matters allowing you to understand the role and value of an in-house legal team.

 

Duration: May to August 2022.


 

What you will do:

  • Support the LPC Team on operation al matters such as policy development, administrative tasks, file maintenance, contract management.
  • Contribute to law projects that will allow you to deep dive into topics and work with the LPC Team and our business colleagues.
  • Working with various databases and tracking systems including preparing employee communications and training on compliance and law topics.
  • Support the LPC Team on corporate commercial and litigation matters interacting with in-house counsel, business colleagues and external counsel.

 

Who you are:

  • College/University student, preferably law student or law clerk student.
  • Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft office, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, creative and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well independently.
