Your mission at Crisis24 :

Based in Montr al, the Senior Legal Counsel Contracts will provide legal contract review and management to Crisis24 s business operations in North America and will also be called upon interact and collaborate with lawyers operating in the broader Crisis24 and GardaWorld businesses.

Your responsabilities :

The Senior Legal Counsel Contracts will be responsible for the review and negotiation of customer contracts and the drafting of distributor agreements, framework agreements, strategic partnerships and other contracts, and assisting in the development and updating of templates and contract management. Projects will include working closely with the business development team on proposals and RFP responses involving both private and public counterparts, as well as periodically providing day-to-day advice and input on legal, commercial, and business matters.

Your profil :

Skills

  • Legal proficiency capable and efficient commercial lawyer with strong attention to detail, ability to focus on material issues, and a commitment to ethics in business dealings
  • Solution oriented able to quickly identify and assess legal and other risks and to develop and implement mitigating actions
  • Client oriented able to manage a large volume of transactions on a number of time zones and provide a rapid turn-around
  • Teamwork understand and contribute to achieving the business objectives, communicate clearly and respectfully, and share and be open to different points of view

Requirements

  • LL.B., J.D. or equivalent from a qualified Canadian, U.S. or international Law School
  • Admitted to practice law in a Canadian Province (U.S. bar admittance a strong plus)
  • Bilingual (English and French)

Experience

  • A minimum of five years experience working as a senior legal counsel or senior contracts manager, preferably with a company having global operations, or equivalent experience in a national or international law firm
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating software licenses, SaaS agreements, and other commercial contracts
  • Experience with data privacy regulation is a plus

Location :

This position will be based at
GardaWorld s future Global corporate headquarters in Montreal
(St-Laurent borough) and may require limited North American and international travel. Telecommuting will be possible in accordance with the company s policies post-pandemic.
