As a business oriented commercial lawyer, you will support TELUS Business Solutions activities across Canada. As a successful candidate, you will be engaged in a variety of transactions and legal matters, including deal negotiations and agreement drafting. You will also provide advice on telecommunications, information technology (IT), competition, procurement and privacy matters.

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle


  • Respected for your legal skills, business acumen, initiative, creativity, learning-oriented mindset and collaborative style
  • Experience advising clients in structuring, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements in support of sales activity, including SaaS subscription agreements, software licenses and professional services
  • Familiarity with third wave technologies, including cloud computing, Internet of Things and related privacy issues
  • advise on data privacy, protection and security
  • Valued for strong analytical skills that help you resolve client and legal concerns practically and efficiently
  • Confident at engaging and interacting with sophisticated stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Noted for your ability to effectively communicate legal advice (including written) to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You thrive in a fast paced, results oriented environment
  • Recognized for your record of successfully managing multiple, concurrent files and priorities and delivering on commitments
  • Bilingual (French and English) and capable of drafting, negotiating and practicing in either language
  • Called 5 or more years ago to the Bar
  • Member in good standing with any Law Society in Canada
  • Job level and compensation will depend on years of pertinent experience of the selected candidate.
