Here’s the position:

ADMINISTRATION – the Humble Control Freak Part

  • Provide proactive administrative support to business lawyers and law clerk
  • Perform some accounting support functions
  • Perform general office maintenance and support tasks
  • Welcome clients and visitors
  • Coordinate office system issues with service providers
  • And some other things like that – you get the drift

 FIRM MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY – the Agile, Smart Control Freak Part

  • Working alongside us to develop systems to identify, measure and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and improve our existing processes (and develop new ones)

  • A Diploma/Certificate in a related Legal Assistant or Paralegal Program (e.g., not wills and estates)
  • At least 1 year of law firm administrative experience, business law firm environment an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with PCLaw and Worldox an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior ability to multitask
  • Superior organizational skills
