About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel, the Junior Legal Counsel acts as a corporate resource to NSH as an integral member of the Legal Services team. The Junior Legal Counsel provides sound legal and medical/ethical guidance to NSH employees, medical staff and senior leadership, taking into consideration other activities within NSH and established health law practices across the country.

About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel, the Junior Legal Counsel acts as a corporate resource to NSH as an integral member of the Legal Services team. The Junior Legal Counsel provides sound legal and medical/ethical guidance to NSH employees, medical staff and senior leadership, taking into consideration other activities within NSH and established health law practices across the country.
Junior Legal Counsel provides legal advice and strategic direction; analyses and provides advice on complex, sensitive and multidimensional problems, both independently and as a part of a team. About You

Your impact
As Commercial Counsel, you will leverage your experience and expertise to counsel and collaborate cross-functionally with teams at Grammarly, all while developing a diverse set of skills and growing the specialized support provided by the Grammarly Legal team. You will negotiate commercial agreements that power our daily operations and are critical to our growth, all while protecting Grammarly long-term by managing agreements and practices that ensure compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.
Within your first 30 days, you will onboard to the Grammarly Legal team and focus on understanding our legal function and our B2B business. You will be involved in solving interesting legal asks and negotiating at least one complex Grammarly contract.

Your impact

Within your first 30 days, you will onboard to the Grammarly Legal team and focus on understanding our legal function and our B2B business. You will be involved in solving interesting legal asks and negotiating at least one complex Grammarly contract.
By month three, you will have developed good relationships with the leaders in various Grammarly B2B teams. You will balance and prioritize the strategic and complex projects you are leading and the contracts you're negotiating.
By month six, you will be able to counsel and negotiate across all segments and channels of B2B, supporting other legal team members on their own negotiations. The Position: Air Canada is looking for a commercial counsel to join our team of professionals in Montreal. While the position is temporary, there may be an opportunity for permanence at the end of the term. As a member of the Corporate & Commercial team, the successful candidate will:
Work on a variety of commercial transactions and initiatives supporting all aspects of our business and operations.
Be responsible for providing advice on contractual matters and other legal issues and drafting, reviewing and commenting on contractual and other documentation.
Play an important role in negotiating and supporting the "client" in all phases of a project, from conception through the letter of intent to completion of the final transaction documentation.
Qualifications
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in a leading law firm or an established in-house legal department.
Demonstrable commercial law background and experience in the drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements is key.
Particular experience in contracts relating to at least one of the following areas is an asset: procurement of "mission critical" goods and services or information technology (IT).
A passion for learning and gaining a deep understanding of the business to more effectively support strategies and objectives.
Strong written and oral communication skills, possess good business judgment and be strategic, pragmatic and thorough with a solid ability to assess legal and business risk.
Strong drafting, negotiating and analytical skills, be a leader, self-motivated and someone who thrives on challenges and having responsibility and who enjoys working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment alongside a very cohesive team of professionals.
