Full-time Order-in-Council Position
The Court of Appeal is seeking a well-organized, responsible, energetic individual to provide administrative support to the Judiciary. The duties include transcribing, proof reading, editing and issuing judicial decisions; maintaining electronic filing systems; arranging travel; preparing expense reports; and other administrative duties for the Court which may be assigned from time to time. The successful incumbent will have an aptitude for information technology.
The position requires the person to have excellent knowledge of:
- Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat;
- English grammar, spelling and punctuation; and
- Legal terminology.
The position also requires the person to have the ability to:
Accurately type, proofread and edit judicial material (minimum typing speed of 60 wpm);
Locate and verify quotes and citations;
Analyze and resolve problems;
Process complex instructions quickly and accurately;
Communicate clearly, discreetly and courteously;
Work both independently and as part of a team;
Establish and maintain electronic and paper filing system;
Accurately reference legislation, Rules of Court, regulations, and case authorities;
Contribute to a positive work environment;
Independently organize and prioritize multiple tasks; and
Maintain the professional corporate culture standard of the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.
The position requires the person be honest, discreet, approachable, courteous, flexible, hard-working and creative. Appointment will be made by Order-in-Council.

Salary and Rank: MCP2 range $3,879-$5,046 (salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience). Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, annual flex benefit, and pension plan.
