Legal Assistant (1 Year Contract)SummaryofResponsibilities:Providing administrative support to the AccorHotels North & Central America team, the Legal Assistant responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Typinggeneralcorrespondenceandpreparation of legal documents with attention detail to ensure accuracy
Proofreading andproducingpresentation materials, slides and other documents ensuring final product is error free
Photocopying,scanning, mail and couriers
Maintainingan effective filing system for all legal correspondence and documents
Maintaininga diary system to ensure proper completion and to track relevant dates for attention
Managing and maintaining contract and corporate databases
Planningand organizing meetings, conference calls and events, including catering, accommodation, facilities or transportation as required
Co-ordinationofcomplexdomesticand international travel arrangements
Preparation and submissionof extensive monthly expensereports
Maintaining and updating the lawyers’ calendars
Managing submission, processing and queries related to legal department invoices
Communicatingand interacting with internal and external contacts
Maintaining confidentialityof all matters occurring in the Law Department
Perform other duties as assigned

Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and basic knowledge of Excel. Exposure to technology including Apple products would be an asset.
Experience with e-billing software Serengeti would be an asset.
Completionof a certified Legal Administrator's program(or a higher degree/certificate) would be an asset
Legal Secretarial experience preferred.
