Job Description

Our Firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to lawyers. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who can function in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

Draft correspondence and prepare case file material as required;

Open, maintain and close files;

Follow- up to ensure accuracy of information;

Organize files and take basic information from Clients on new files;

Qualifications :

Minimum three years of legal secretarial/ administrative experience, preferably in real estate, family, immigration, personal injury and litigation;

Comprehensive knowledge of Conveyancer, Teraview, PC Law, DivorceMate, Estate a Base, Will-builder, Officio, Microsoft Office software, including Word, and Outlook

Excellent written/oral communications with a keen eye for detail, including the ability to prepare correspondence using dictation equipment;

Ability to produce high volume of work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
