Job Description

BLG's Specialized Business Law Group is currently recruiting an Associate with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Commercial Real Estate to join its team in the Ottawa office.
Applicants who have strong client management and teamwork skills are sought to assume responsibility in an active and diverse practice. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional/lending and leasing experience, solid drafting skills, as well as some experience with infrastructure project work. The candidate must be a member of the Ontario B ar in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, and must appreciate the importance of providing excellent and responsive legal service to clients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and career as part of a successful team. With BLG's national ongoing professional development/legal education program, the successful candidate will obtain advanced training, mentoring and exposure to the firm's clients while being supported to build their own practice and expertise.
