    Job Summary

    Finastra is seeking an exceptional Corporate Counsel to join its legal department in Toronto.  This fast paced, dynamic team is accountable for the Canadian corporate legal portfolio of the 3rd largest Fintech company in the world.  Reporting to the General Counsel (Canada), the ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years post call proven work experience with a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters. 





    Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong business acumen to draft and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors
    • Provide legal advice relating to the implementation of new products and services
    • Work collaboratively as part of the global team; and provide regulatory and compliance support
    • Confident, resourceful and motivated lawyer with very strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills. 
    • Exposure or experience with software licensing, technology outsourcing, and product compliance would be considered an asset. 
    • Must have a law degree from a recognized institution and membership in good standing of the Ontario bar.
