This position is for an Indigenous student currently in first or second year of a common law degree program at a Canadian university. The successful candidate will be located in Imperial’s Law department in Calgary, AB and will assist in-house lawyers in the provision of legal support to the Imperial organization. Responsibilities may include: legal research; writing opinions and memoranda; drafting letters, pleadings and contracts; project work of a legal nature; and participating in meetings with in-house lawyers and internal clients.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. Document must be current and valid (not expired, cancelled or voided). Work permit must be valid for the duration of the term. Proof of eligibility is required if an offer is made and it would need to be provided a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the agreed-upon start date.
