:  003 Justice Salary Range:  $20.971-$26.280 Hourly Grade:  SGEU.05.  

The Court of Queen’s Bench, Local Registrar’s Office in Regina is seeking a highly organized, accurate and energetic individual who enjoys a fast paced, high volume work environment with diverse job expectations. 

  Responsibilities include word processing; drafting/typing letters, and court related documents; compiling chambers documents; and filing and entering data on a database. Other office duties include daily contact with the public, lawyers, police agencies and the public over the telephone or walk-in; responding to general inquiries; filing/retrieving files (which may weigh up to 25 pounds); daily bank deposits; and processing of incoming and outgoing mail.   The successful candidate will have knowledge of legal terminology; the administration of legal documents; and an understanding of the various levels of court, court processes and procedures; general office and administrative practices and procedures including handling of cash, filing systems, and mail processing; and computer applications, including word processing, databases and spreadsheets.   Typically the knowledge required for this position is obtained through formal education such as an office education program supplemented with legal courses, and/or a combination of education and experience.     Applicants must clearly describe in their cover letter and resume how they have gained the required knowledge and/or experience required for this position.
