TransAlta is currently looking to hire a full-time position for a Corporate Paralegal, reporting to the Assistant Corporate Secretary. This position exists to support the directors and officers in respect of the holding of board and shareholder meetings, attending to corporate filings, providing administrative duties to support the Corporate Secretarial group, and providing meaningful support in achieving the Corporation's corporate governance goals. The successful candidate will be expected to work with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and independence. Efficiency and quality, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, together with self-composure, a sense of urgency and a positive attitude are essential attributes for success in this role.
