As a member of the team, you will play a key role in providing advanced document support to all offices across Canada, as well as legal and administrative assistant support in our Vancouver office. What You’ll Do You will be a key addition to the fast-paced DSC team, maximizing your advanced skills in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail. You will be involved in a wide variety of tasks, including: providing advanced document processing support creating documents through transcription copy-typing mail-merge making document revisions converting electronic files from one format to another formatting documents; working with styles, bookmarks, cross-referencing, provide document trouble-shooting support and problem resolution. Your Legal Support Assistant tasks include: providing coverage for Litigation Legal Assistant vacations and absences as assigned drafting correspondence filing, both electronic and hard copy preparation of accounts coordinating and scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and other duties as required. What You Bring You have established yourself as a key resource with your advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PPT. You also have over three years of legal experience in a large law firm environment in either of the following practice areas; Commercial Real Estate, Litigation, Business Law, and/or Financial Services. You have strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills. You are proactive, detail-oriented and are able to effectively meet deadlines. You work well in a team setting, and provide an exceptional level of client service, whether providing onsite or remote support. You are flexible, including flexibility with respect to working overtime, evenings and weekend shifts.
